Coremo Brakes and Clutches
COREMO OCMEA, manufactures mechanical, pneumatic or hydraulic brakes and clutches for the industries of wire & cable, metalforming, steel, textile, paper, converting, packaging and for all other industrial applications. COREMO OCMEA, established 1960, is based in Assago – Milan (Italy)
Coremo – Pneumatic Caliper Brakes
Coremo – Pneumatic Caliper Brakes are designed for applications which use air pressure to operate the braking system. All Coremo Caliper brakes can be fitted with a wear indicator and an on/off indicator device to protect the system during operation. The brake can be installed in any position since it has a lever balancing and lining pad alignment system (depending on type).
Coremo – Air Applied, Spring Release Caliper Brakes (Positive Brakes)
Coremo – Air Applied, Spring Release Caliper Brake (Positive Brake) are normally for Service Stops (Stopping) or Tensioning Brake. Forces vary depending on the pressure of the air supplied; the maximum operating pressure is 6 [bar].

Coremo – Spring Applied, Air Release Caliper Brakes (Negative or Fail-Safe Brakes)
Coremo – Spring Applied, Air Release Caliper Brake (Negative or Fail-Safe Brake) are chosen for Emergency and/or Parking Brake (Holding) functions. The clamping force of each model is generated by helical springs which allow low reaction times and release by Air Pressure (up to a maximum pressure of 6 bar).

Coremo – Dual Combination Pneumatic Caliper Brake function
Coremo – Dual Combination Pneumatic Caliper Brake function as both a Positive and Negative Brake. It comprises a single thruster and is designed in which the clamping forces are either applied by the air (air-actuated) or the springs (failsafe). This is suitable for applications which require both continuous and emergency braking simultaneously. The advantage of just one Caliper Brake instead of two.

Coremo – Hydraulic Brakes
Coremo – Pneumatic Caliper Brakes are designed for applications which use air pressure to operate the braking system. All Coremo Caliper brakes can be fitted with a wear indicator and an on/off indicator device to protect the system during operation. The brake can be installed in any position since it has a lever balancing and lining pad alignment system (depending on type).
Coremo – Hydraulic Applied, Spring Release Brake (Positive Brake)
Coremo – Hydraulic Applied, Spring Release Brake (Positive Brake) are normally for Service Stops (Stopping). Forces vary depending on the pressure of the supplied Hydraulic pressure (up to a maximum pressure of 200 bar).

Coremo – Mechanical Caliper Brakes
Coremo – Mechanical Caliper Brakes are intended for applications where pneumatic or hydraulic power are not available, making mechanical operation of the brake necessary. The brake can be installed in any position since it has a lever balancing and lining pad alignment system (depending on type).
Mechanically Applied Caliper Brake, forces are applied by hand by turning the handwheel a specific number of turns to obtain the required torques.

Coremo – Electric, Fail Safe Caliper Brakes
failsafe electric brakes are designed for applications where pneumatic or hydraulic power is not available and a remote actuation is required.
Coremo – Electric, Fail Safe Caliper Brake, operates on voltage of 110 or 220 and is rated at IP 55
Type ‘D-E’
Coremo – Hydraulic Power Pack
Coremo – Hydraulic Power Pack are designed to complete the braking system of hydraulic brake. Two different families have been designed: “P” for Hydraulic Oil-applied Brakes and “N” for Spring-Applied, Hydraulic Release Brakes.
